OverviewCHI St. Alexius Hospital in the capital city of Bismarck, North Dakota is seeking a PRN Infectious Disease Physician for established department.

The clinic within the hospital has it's own dedicated space with tremendous long standing support staff. We are a growing hospital employed team in a multispecialty clinic of outstanding providers.

Alexius HealthCHI St. Alexius Health is a Level II Trauma Center and is the largest health care delivery system in central and western North Dakota that is comprised of a tertiary hospital in Bismarck, and critical access hospitals (CAHs) in Carrington, Dickinson, Devils Lake, Garrison, Turtle Lake, Washburn and Williston and numerous clinics and outpatient services.

In addition, CHI St. Alexius Health manages five CAHs in North Dakota- Ashley, Elgin, Linton, and Wishek, as well as Mobridge Regional Medical Center in Mobridge, SD.

CHI St. Alexius Health also owns and operates outpatient clinics in Mandan and Minot. CHI St. Alexius Health Bismarck, is a 225-bed, full-service, acute care medical center offering a full line of inpatient and outpatient medical services, including primary and specialty physician clinics;

home health and hospice services; durable medical equipment services and a fitness and human performance center. Since our founding in 1885, CHI St.

Alexius Health has been dedicated to serving the residents of central and western North Dakota, northern South Dakota and eastern Montana.

ResponsibilitiesPatient Care : Diagnose and treat various medical conditions.Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.

Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories.Communication : Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Provide clear and concise medical information.Foster a collaborative and patient-centered approach to healthcare.Documentation : Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Document medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans.Ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.Diagnostic Procedures : Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging.

Perform procedures as neededCollaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation.Team Collaboration : Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.

Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.Provide consultative services to other healthcare providers.

Quality Improvement : Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.Review and analyze clinical outcomes for continuous improvement.

Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines.QualificationsAmerican Board Certified or Board Eligible in Specified Area of Medical SpecialtyA valid and unrestricted state medical license or license-eligiblePay Range$180.
