We have an opportunity for a Program Engineer to provide engineering services in the areas of aircraft and weapon integration.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates aircraft integration activities for a weapon acquisition program
- Coordinates weapon interface specifications and memoranda
- Coordinates flight clearances for airworthiness
- Participates in stakeholder meetings and technical exchanges.
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications Education / Experience Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as engineering, mathematics, physics, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 10 years of technical / management / development / integration experience with aircraft, weapons, and / or operations, with 2 of those years occurring within the last 3 years;
appropriate educational background may be substituted for this experience. Skills : US Navy aircraft instruction, weapon interface specifications, multifunctional team communications.
Knowledge of DoD systems, aircraft integration, and / or safety of flight requirements.Knowledge of Naval Aviation aircraft systems (preferably F-18 / F-35) and / or subsystems and / or components;
ability to perform analysis and documentation. Clearance Requirement : Active SECRET Clearance required; Have or ability to maintain a DoD TOP SECRET clearance (SCI eligible) preferred.
