Description

Position : Dispatcher

Department : 200 Field Operations

Reports to Assistant Director of Operations

SUMMARY / SCOPE OF ASSIGNMENT :

Dispatchers are responsible for the oversight of security officer's time & attendance, well-being, and questions or concerns that arise while they are on duty.

Efficient use of the TrackTik system is required to ensure all scheduled employees are clocking in / out of their shifts, performing mandatory activity every 30 minutes, fielding phone calls from officers, writing infraction reports, and working closely with Supervisors to find coverage for open shifts when there are call outs, vacations or no call / no shows.

Also, answers non-routine correspondence and assembles highly confidential and sensitive information. Deals with a diverse group of important external callers and visitors as well as internal contacts at all levels of the organization.

Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload, and recommend changes in office practices or procedures.

Dispatchers report directly to the dispatch manager and must have open availability working nights weekends holidays etc.

JOB DUTY SUMMARY :

Responsible for overseeing the daily schedule- making sure employees are clocking in / out on time, preparing their activity every 30 minutes, and communicating to make sure no issues are arising.

Pass on information to the relief dispatcher / check off on all equipment. This means discussing what was accomplished during your shift, what needs to be worked on, and what is expected in the future.

Review summary reports and write infractions for any anomalies you come across, (no activity, no tours, etc†)

Approve time cards that occur on your shift.

Monitor any reports from officers, and escalate these issues to the appropriate party.

Assists the Supervisors with finding coverage for any open shifts, including call-outs, no-call / no-shows.

Write infraction reports for any officers who are violating the NES code of conduct including but not limited to clocking in late for shifts, calling out of scheduled shifts, not showing activity in a timely manner, not communicating with dispatch to ensure operations are running smoothly, etc†.

Maintain a detailed log of calls and events.

Routine maintenance of site contact info to make sure we have the correct phone numbers and addresses on file.

Routine maintenance of employee info, update phone numbers, emails addresses, etc. if anyone calls to give us their new contact info.

ADDITIONAL OFFICE DUTY SUMMARY :

1. Answer and field phone calls. Route calls to the appropriate parties.

2. Take clear and concise notes at all times.

4. Assist the controller and director in drafting memos, letters, and emails to clients, vendors and employees.

5. Keep track of meetings and schedules for managers, supervisors, the controller and director.

8. Maintain the inventory and distribution of uniforms to employees.

9. Create user accounts for the various security programs used by employees

10. Create and prepare TrackTik devices and the distribution of company equipment such as cell phones and laptops.

11. Assist the director of operations with any employee scheduling confirmations, time-off requests, or other operational conflicts arising from employee disciplinary matters.

1. Maintain consumable inventory including office supplies, water, paper, and hardware. Order when necessary.

3. Maintain purchase logs for office purchases using credit cards.

4. Assure the overall maintenance of the office space.

POSITION TYPE AND HOURS :

This is a full-time position and is hourly. This position is eligible for overtime pay.

Days and hours or work will vary depending on the operational needs of the company. This is a 24-7 position, which means some will be required to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

High school diploma

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE :

Some experience working in the capacity of dispatcher.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Has knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and how to use a computer.

Must be able to deal with various levels of personality traits and maintain self-control.

Must conduct oneself in a professional and efficient manner during interaction with people.

Must prepare written statements, evaluations and correspondence in a logical and grammatically correct manner.

Must be able to cover various shifts including weekends, nights and holidays; and / or work extended hours if needed.

Must be self-motivated and willing to work with others.

UNARMED GUARD

SUMMARY / SCOPE OF ASSIGNMENT :

We are looking for dedicated and alert unarmed security guards to manage the security and safety of sites throughout the Boston and New England areas.

In this role, your duties will include performing access control, monitoring security equipment, and patrolling. To ensure success, unarmed security guards should be able to assess security concerns and take proactive steps in maintaining a safe and secure environment.

JOB DUTY SUMMARY :

Patrolling buildings, facilities, and perimeters of assigned sites

Investigating suspicious or unusual activities and disturbances.

Preventing losses and damage by reporting irregularities.

Preventing illegal or inappropriate actions by maintaining a high visibility presence.

Authorizing the entrance of employees, visitors, and vehicles, ensuring that credentials are in order.

Monitoring alarm systems and video surveillance systems.

Protecting assets

Contacting appropriate services such as police and the fire department in cases of emergency

POSITION TYPE AND HOURS :

This is an hourly full-time position and is eligible for overtime pay.

Days and hours of work will vary depending on the operational needs of the company. Nights and weekends will be required as a standard shift period.

Must be available to work holidays.

REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent

A clean driving record with less than 4 points.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must own a smartphone, preferably with an NFC reader

Must be able to pass a basic criminal background check (CORI)

Must be able to pass a drug test at the time of hire and periodically

Must have a Massachusetts driver's license.
