BUILDING THE POSSIBILITIES :

We’re growing rapidly. As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will help us continue running our applications smoothly as our business scales.

What You'll Do As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer

  • Work with infrastructure as code using tools like Chef and Terraform
  • Design and implement monitoring and alerting strategies to enforce application SLOs
  • Enable product teams to manage and self-serve on-prem and cloud infrastructure while ensuring platform stability.
  • Foster a continuous deployment ecosystem that allows DraftKings to operate at a massive scale.
  • Standardize configuration and deployment methodologies across our growing organization
  • Share expertise and mentor junior SREs in infrastructure patterns and standards
  • Participate in our on-call and incident response teams to solve critical problems in production

WHAT YOU'LL BRING :

  • 3+ years of experience working with cloud environments and provisioning automation
  • Deep understanding of common programming languages (Python, Ruby, Go)
  • Kubernetes administration experience, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Experience working with applications written in an object-oriented language (Java, .Net, etc.)
  • Deep knowledge of networking and web concepts enabling you to debug problems down to the packets
  • Experience working with distributed systems and microservices
  • Understanding of automated scaling concepts
  • Understanding of Blue-green, canary and A / B testing strategies
  • Experience working with messaging infrastructure (Kafka, RabbitMQ etc.)

As a regulated gaming company, you may be required to obtain a gaming license issued by the appropriate state agency as a condition of employment.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $128,000.00 - $192,000.00, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
