LaSalle Network is looking for a knowledgeable and experienced Smart Communications Consultant to join our client’s team on a project basis.
The consultant will be responsible for developing and modifying SmartComm templates, ensuring that all output documents are compliant with Section 508 accessibility standards.
This role involves working closely with their internal team and utilizing various diagnostic tools to identify and address accessibility issues.
This position can be done 100% remotely.
Smart Communications Consultant Responsibilities :
- Develop and modify templates in SmartComm for document creation and distribution
- Ensure that all PDF and email templates are compliant with Section 508 accessibility standards
- Utilize diagnostic tools, such as Adobe Pro, to run accessibility reports on PDFs and identify violations with varying severity levels
- Provide expert advice and recommendations to the team on best practices for template development and accessibility compliance
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand template requirements and deliver customized solutions
- Address unique template issues for various clients and ensure consistent quality across all outputs
Smart Communications Consultant Requirements :
- Proven experience with Smart Communications (SmartComm) or similar CCM tools
- Strong understanding of template development and modification within SmartComm
- In-depth knowledge of accessibility standards, specifically Section 508 compliance
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools like Adobe Pro to evaluate and improve document accessibility
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve template issues
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and clients
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks within project timelines
- Experience working with multiple CCM tools preferred
- Previous consulting experience in a similar role preferred
- Relevant certifications in accessibility or CCM tools preferred
