Job Overview

General maintenance and repair, part runs, shipping, receiving, painting, janitorial services, and other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Drive to deliver and pickup parts as instructed throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
  • Assist in shipping, receiving, and yard facility maintenance.
  • Transport materials and equipment using a forklift.
  • Housekeeping services for warehouse as required.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Experience in the maritime industry preferred.
  • Mechanical skills.
  • Valid California State drivers' license and clean driving record required.
  • Comfortable driving throughout the San Francisco area in traffic.
  • Must obtain TWIC within 60 days of hire.
  • Ability to work with others using courtesy, tact, and good judgment.
  • Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal or no guidance.
  • Must be able to read, speak, write, type, and understand English in person and over the telephone.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Required to work near or on boats and barges using mechanical tools.
  • Required to work outside in all weather conditions.
  • Must be capable of working on feet all day and lifting up to 50lbs frequently.
  • Mechanical knowledge preferred.

    • Expected Hours of Work

    Normal office hours are 7 : 00 a.m. to 3 : 30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
