Robert Half is seeking a Social Services Lead that will manage a small staff and oversee large properties / communities, plan events, and support residents by providing access to community resources.
The ideal individual is someone who naturally connects well with others and has experience with community / resident based non-profit work.
A certification in Social Work is required and a bachelor’s degree or master’s degree is preferred.

Key Responsibilities :
- Team Leadership : Supervise and provide direction to the social services team.
- Resident Support : Offer general assistance, advocacy, and clarification about social services like Medicare, Medicaid, and others.
- Partnerships : Maintain relationships with local, county, and state resources for up-to-date service provision.
- Referrals : Link residents to supportive services such as case management, personal care, meals, transportation, and more.
- Family Collaboration : Work with residents, families, and caseworkers to ensure proper social services planning.
- Program Management : Oversee funding, reporting, and operations of the Congregate Services Program.
- Resident Enrichment : Organize programs and activities to promote residents’ social and psychological well-being.
- Education and Empowerment : Inform residents about available services and empower them to access these independently.
- Compliance and Documentation : Collaborate with property management to ensure lease compliance, handle safety issues, and document service interactions.
- Experience in a social work or human services setting, preferably in a management or supervisory role.
- Familiarity with regulations and standards relating to the delivery of social services.
- Project management and strategic planning skills.
- Excellent record-keeping skills and ability to handle confidential information.
- Ability to build partnerships with other agencies and community organizations.
- Proficient with various technologies including case management software.
- Staying abreast of new laws and regulations in the social services field.
