EXPERT GIS DBA
A successful Expert GIS Database Administrator shall perform advanced level planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of an enterprise level.
Expert GIS Database Administrator have 8 years of progressive experience performing complex analysis, design, development, and modification to improve efficiency of Microsoft SQL and / or PostgreSQL databases in support of enterprise architecture.
Shall be highly proficient in administering and deploying open source and commercial off the shelf (COTS) GIS server equipment in support of intelligence organizations.
Should possess strong oral and written communication skills and be capable of effectively directing subordinates. Shall possess high level / expert ability to manage and work with static and dynamic streaming geospatial oriented data.
The Expert GIS Database Administrator is required to obtain and maintain currency of the appropriate level certification in accordance with DODD 8570.01.

Desired : Bachelor's degree and three additional years of general experience in the fields of database administration, intelligence systems architecture and geospatial systems experience are highly desirable.
Network+ and Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA). SQL Server 2016 certifications desired. Should possess an expert working knowledge of the discovery, analysis and exploitation of geospatially oriented data and the management of that data within a variety of Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) compliant applications and databases.
Education Requirements : HS Graduate or equivalent
Experience Requirements : Minimum of 8 years GIS database experience within DOD or the Intelligence Community
Certification Requirements : DODD 8570.01 (e. g. Security+ certification)
Security Clearance Requirements : TS / SCI
