Luminary Group is currently hiring a skilled and motivated Technical Lead for a 6-month full-time engagement with a medical device company based in the USA.

As the Technical Lead, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance to the development team and ensuring the successful delivery of medical device projects.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, collaborate on product enhancements, and contribute to the overall success of the company's medical device portfolio.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage the development team, providing technical expertise, mentorship, and performance feedback.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of medical device software and hardware components.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
  • Contribute to product enhancements and the overall technical strategy for the company's medical device portfolio.
  • Perform code reviews, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide timely resolutions.
  • Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, providing project updates and progress reports.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and improve product quality.
  • Provide technical guidance to ensure a high level of software and hardware quality and performance.
  • Stay abreast of relevant regulatory requirements and ensure compliance in product development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical leadership roles, preferably in the medical device industry.
  • Strong background in software and hardware development for medical devices.
  • Experience with regulatory standards and requirements for medical device software and hardware.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Java, or Python.
  • Knowledge of medical device software development frameworks and tools.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to find innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage competing priorities.
  • Experience with project management and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Understanding of regulatory considerations and compliance requirements in the medical device industry.
