Role and Responsibilities :

The Lead Stocker will work with the Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager to oversee daily commissary operations.

A commissary is a grocery store located on a military installation that primarily serves members of the military, their families, and authorized personnel.

• Work with a team that primarily composed of individuals with disabilities
• Supervises commissary employees in various locations throughout the building
• Uses customer service skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, officials, and all members of the public
• Responsible for organizing, planning, directing, staffing, and controlling the operations of the facility
• Responsible for maintaining the goals, standards, and objectives of the facility as well as obtaining and maintaining the goals, standards, and objectives of the company
• Coordinates work schedules to ensure timely and effective completion of the maintenance and care of the buildings and offices
• Trains, supervises, and evaluates assigned commissary staff
• Trains staff in proper chemical and equipment usage and maintenance
• Opens and closes locks and unlocks facilities as needed
• Keeps records of work completed
• Perform any other duties as assigned

Education and Qualifications Requirements :

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Forklift Operator certification (Preferred).
• Minimum of (1) Years' supervisory experience

Physical Demands :

• Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these functions.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, gran and lift up to fifty (25) lbs.
• Must be able to stand and walk the entire shift.
