MacKay Sposito is seeking a full time Civil Engineer to join our Engineering team. Preferred project experience in land development and public road design, including grading design, water and sanitary sewer design, road plan and profiles, and storm drainage design however recent college graduates will be considered.

Responsibilities : Ability to understand and resolve engineering problems and adapt approved engineering methods and standards Review and interpret plans, site layouts, specifications and construction methods to ensure compliance to legal requirements and safety regulations.

Meet deadlines, communicate and work closely in a team environment, and execute complex engineering activities reliably.

Prepare engineering designs and specifications on assigned portions of a project accurately and in a timely manner. Prepare cost estimates with quantities and cost of materials, equipment, or time and cost of labor to determine project feasibility and bond quantity amounts.

Provide analytical assessment of complex engineering data, such as design agreements, design calculations, preliminary specifications, and other technical data.

Ability to build and maintain professional co-worker, client, and community relationships. Qualifications : Requires a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering EIT Certification preferred but not required Aptitude and demonstrated hands-on experience with computer applications in Civil Engineering in AutoCAD Civil 3D Excellent computer, writing, communication and customer service skills Our Values : At MacKay Sposito, we’re serious about our work, but we don’t take ourselves too seriously.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based on candidate experience and qualifications, as well as various market and business considerations.

The wage range for this position is $33.00 - $35.00 per hour depending on internship experience Full-time employees receive a well-rounded benefits package including access to our company-sponsored Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA, and Supplemental Life Insurance plans.

100% company paid Life Insurance, Short Term Disability, and Long Term Disability coverage. Employees are eligible to participate in our company 401k plan with up to a 4% match.

Additionally, employees also receive paid vacation time, paid sick time, and 11 paid holidays. MacKay Sposito pays for expenses associated with licensure as well as annual profit-sharing bonuses.
