Position Summary
Monmouth University is seeking a dynamic and organized individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant for the Kislak Real Estate Institute (KREI).
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, along with excellent attention to detail and strong time management abilities.
They should demonstrate a proactive approach to their work and have the ability to work effectively with University personnel and stakeholders associated with the Kislak Real Estate Institute.
Key Responsibilities include :
- Coordinate and manage administrative tasks related to KREI, including correspondence, scheduling and record-keeping.
- Execute fundraising events and initiatives with strong follow-up skills to ensure their success, including the Leadership Excellence Award Dinner, Golf Outing and more.
- Maintain databases, prepare mailings, and manage invoices for all functions.
This is an in-person, on-campus, non-remote position.

- Two (2) years experience in special events coordination and office administration
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent attention to detail, time management skills, problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate with University personnel and those associated with the Real Estate Institute on many different levels
- Strong follow-up skills to ensure the success of all fundraisers and events run through the office
- Ability to perform and assist with administrative duties related to the Kislak Real Estate Institute
- Must have a strong sense of self initiative and be able to demonstrate a proactive approach to their work
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed
