SUPPLY CHAIN ANALYST
SUMMARY
Gathers data and conducts analysis with the goal of improving the organization's supply chain operations. Identifies underperforming areas in the supply chain and may suggest improvements or resolutions to problems.
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
May include, but are not limited to, the following :
- Analyze entire Supply Chain including logistics costs, distribution costs and customer experience.
- Develop and track KPI’s for the Supply Chain department.
- Propose, implement and support cross functional, multi-site or high level business models to support in alignment with business strategy.
- Spearhead large cross-functional projects across entire Supply Chain (Identify, develop and complete strategic level work plans) and facilitate large teams with explicit scope and objectives.
- Lead integration of new high level process changes
- Represent the Supply Chain on cross-functional business unit teams and align project or process improvement goals with functional business objectives.
- Develops and delivers business plans or models for Supply Chain Director and other Supply Chain Leaders.
- Define high risk or high level problems, collect data, analyze data, offer solutions and implement to achieve the desired results.
- Advocate LEAN tools and other business processes such as Kanban, Spike Tools, 5-Why, Plan-Do-Check-Act, Value Stream Mapping and A3 Thinking.
- Coach others on understanding, analyzing, interpreting data and use of LEAN tools.
- Team leader on strategic projects and directs the work of others assigned to lead strategic and / or enterprise wide Supply Chain improvements.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Builds strong working relationships with internal and / or external customers.
- Takes the initiative to solve customer problems and delivers what the customer is promised.
- Utilizes change management methodologies to drive organizational change.
- Expresses ideas effectively through sponsor presentations or less formally through written and verbal communications.
- Financial Acumen and Budgeting Experience.
- Communication Proficiency.
- SAP and JDE experience preferred.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- 4 year degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or Technology.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience across multiple Supply Chain Disciplines preferred.
- Experience with relevant Supply Chain technologies such as ERP, Manufacturing Execution Systems and Warehouse Management Systems
- Expert level knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Experience in lean and other continuous improvement initiatives, including six-sigma applications.

reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. He employee frequently is required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee must regularly lift and / or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and / or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perceptions, and the ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and / or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and fumes or airborne particles.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
