Our client a leading provider of personalbusiness marine equine life / health and benefits insurance isseeking a highly experienced Senior Commercial Account Manager tojoin their team.
This role involves managing a portfolio ofhighvalue accounts with average policy sizes around $75000 inpremium and some clients reaching up to $300000.
You will workprimarily with business owners who manage multiple companiesensuring their complex and sizable insurance needs are met with thehighest level of service and attention.
In thisrole you will focus on cultivating meaningful highimpactrelationships with clients rather than managing smaller lesssignificant accounts.
Your success will be measured by keyperformance metrics such as client retention and your ability tocrosssell and upsell maximizing client value and contributing tothe companys growth.
The ideal candidate willbring at least 10 years of experience in the insurance industrywith a deep understanding of markets and insurance products thatenables them to address client questions efficiently and providequick insightful solutions.
This position also requires strongleadership skills particularly in managing projects and teams witha focus on driving overall business objectives.
While the rolestarts inoffice there is potential to transition to a remote orhybrid setup based on performance.
Responsibilities
- Manage a robust book of highvalue commercialaccounts focusing on substantial policies for business owners withcomplex insurance needs.
- Develop and maintainlongterm client relationships ensuring comprehensive coverage andattentive service.
- Lead projects and teamsdriving overall business objectives and ensuring successfuloutcomes.
- Focus on client retentioncrossselling and upselling to maximize client value and contributeto company growth.
- Provide quick and insightfulsolutions to client questions leveraging a deep understanding ofmarkets and insurance products.
- Start inofficewith potential to transition to a remote or hybrid work environmentbased on performance.
Qualifications
- 10 years of experience in the insuranceindustry with a strong focus on commercialaccounts.
- Licensed in Property & Casualty(P&C) insurance.
- Proven ability to managehighvalue accounts with experience in crossselling andupselling.
- Strong leadership skills withexperience leading projects andteams.
- Collaborative with a strong ability tosee the big picture and contribute strategically within theteam.
- Excellent communication andproblemsolving skills with the ability to provide quick efficientsolutions to client needs.
