We are seeking an experienced Permanent Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. This role is integral to ensuring the smooth operation and longevity of our production machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on professional with a strong understanding of maintenance processes and techniques, with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills. If you enjoy troubleshooting, working with mechanical and electrical systems, and have a knack for preventive maintenance, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Responsibilities :

1. Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and respond to signs of malfunction.

2. Perform routine preventive maintenance to improve the functionality and longevity of our equipment.

3. Troubleshoot complex issues with a keen eye for detail, utilizing a comprehensive understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.

4. Adhere to all safety protocols, including lock out tag out procedures, to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

5. Collaborate with team members and other departments to coordinate maintenance activities.

6. Document all maintenance and repair work accurately and timely for record-keeping and future reference.

7. Assist in the installation and set up of new machinery and equipment.

8. Provide emergency / unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.

9. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

Qualifications :

1. A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in the Manufacturing industry or a similar role.

2. Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems etc.

3. Excellent knowledge of machinery and hydraulic, electrical and other systems and their components.

4. Proficient in the use of manual and power tools.

5. Proven experience with lock out tag out procedures.

6. Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

7. Strong communication and team-working skills.

8. Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of self-motivation.

9. High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus.

10. Able to read and understand complex electrical and mechanical schematics.

11. Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.
