Qualifications

Tax Senior and Tax Manager - Insurance Niche :

• Must have preparation of insurance company tax return experience.
• Experience with forms : 1120-PC, 1120 L, ASC 740, SSAP 101
• Experience preparing more complex multi-state, consolidated corporation, partnership, and individual tax returns
• Prepare and / or review returns
• Deliver tax services
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of this tech stack helpful : ProSystems FX, CCH engagement, Go Systems, One Source, Fast Tax
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• MA in Taxation preferred, not required
• CPA license or on track to obtain (EA license is acceptable)
• 3-5 years of recent public accounting experience
• Insurance industry experience a plus
• Ability to prioritize effectively, multi-task, handle multiple assignments, and thrive with minimum supervision
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• For Tax Manager same skills as listed below under Tax Manager skill set.

Tax Accountant - $68K - $78K

• Deliver tax services

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• MA in Taxation preferred, not required
• CPA license or on track to obtain

• Construction, Real Estate, Pro Athletes, Manufacturing, Distribution, Insurance industry experience a plus
• Ability to prioritize effectively, multi-task, handle multiple assignments, and thrive with minimum supervision
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

Senior Tax Accountant - $78K 93K

• All the above
• Experience preparing more complex multi-state, consolidated corporation, partnership, and individual tax returns
• some tax return review

Tax Manager, CPA 109K 132K

• All the above
• Preparing and reviewing complex multi-state, consolidated corporation, partnership, and individual tax returns.
• Work with other members of the tax practice to develop and sustain excellent client relationships
• Advise clients on a full spectrum of individual, partnership, corporate, and trust and estate tax services.
• Participate in the calculation and analysis of tax strategies for clients
• CPA license required
• Previous experience supervising and training staff
• Ability to self-direct, effectively organize, prioritize, and manage multiple engagements under tight deadlines
