- School Registered Nurse (RN) - Full time & part time available
- No prior experience required!
LOCATIONS :
Middle Island, NY & Surrounding dstricts
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES AS A SCHOOL NURSE :
- Working 1 : 1 with students who have developmental disabilities
- Assisting student with individualized, school related tasks
- Assisting in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEP)
- Monitoring and recording evidence of student's learning and progress
- Supporting student with emotional or behavioral concerns and assist them in developing social skills
- Assistance with personal care and hygiene
- Maintain confidentiality of information
- Assistance with medication administration
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
- Updated resume
- Current NYS RN license
- Up-to-date BLS or ACLS
- Fingerprinting : mandatory by the New York State Department of Education
- Up-to-date medical documentation
