We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Plastic Injection Molding Process Technician to join a dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting injection molding machines and processes to ensure the production of high-quality plastic parts.

You will work closely with engineers and production staff to optimize process parameters and achieve production goals.

Responsibilities :

Machine Setup & Operation : Set up and calibrate injection molding machines according to process specifications and production requirements.

Operate machines to produce parts in line with quality standards.

Process Optimization : Monitor and adjust machine parameters such as temperature, pressure, and cycle time to ensure optimal production efficiency and quality.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance performance and reduce waste.

• Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve issues related to mold performance, machine malfunctions, and part defects. Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to address and resolve technical problems.
• Quality Control : Inspect parts for defects and ensure they meet specifications. Conduct regular quality checks and maintain accurate records of production data and inspection results.
• Documentation : Maintain accurate documentation of process settings, production records, and maintenance activities. Prepare reports and communicate findings to supervisors and team members.
• Safety & Compliance : Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies. Ensure that work areas are maintained in a clean and organized manner.

Follow all environmental and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications :

• Experience : Minimum of 3 years of experience in plastics injection molding, with a solid understanding of molding processes, machine operation, and troubleshooting.
• Technical Skills : Proficiency in setting up and operating injection molding machines. Strong knowledge of molding parameters and the ability to make data-driven adjustments.
• Education : Technical diploma or certification in a relevant field.
• Problem-Solving : Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex molding issues.
• Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Physical Requirements : Ability to lift and move heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and perform tasks that require manual dexterity and precision.
