Job Description
The Clerk, Returns position provides administrative support for the delivery, receipt, processing, and shipping of returns merchandise.
RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES
Resolves all customer returns.Unpacks returned product and tests the products.Ensures returned product is placed back into the warehouse system using the appropriate return policies and procedures.
Determines whether the returned product is sent back to normal stock, to Used, or to the repairs department.Sorts and moves returned product back to racks, shelves, or bins according to current returns guidelines.
Unloads inbound returns trailers and sorts returned items.Other duties as assigned.

Mental Functions :
Refers to positions where the incumbent performs the required tasks independently. The incumbent may perform duties in the areas of technical support, design and analysis, and can be required to make recommendations.
The person holding such a position may also exercise supervisory responsibilities, but not on a regular and ongoing basis.
Work is performed under the general supervision of an immediate supervisor, who reviews the completed work in order to assess the degree of judgment and compliance with standards.
Physical Functions :
Standing 10%, Walking 10%, Sitting 80%
- Continuous mental and / or visual attention required. The work is either repetitive or diversified, requiring constant alertness to monitor the process.
- Must be flexible to working overtime, which is sometimes mandatory.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend English.

Requirements
- 1 year of relevant work experience
- Novice proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Novice proficiency with standard business applications such as the internet and email with an aptitude to learn systems used in an automated warehouse environment (PkMS, Smart Info, etc.).
- Novice knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, spreadsheet creation, and other office procedures and terminology.
