Clarivate is seeking a detail-oriented and highly analytical Senior FP&A Analyst to join our dynamic, finance team! In this role, you will play a key role in supporting the Academia & Government business segment with financial planning, forecasting, and analysis.
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining financial models, analyzing spending trends, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
About You - experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance or a related field or equivalent relevant work experience
- 2+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint

- Demonstrated ability to analyze financial statements and schedules to identify trends
- Experience with Business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Experience with NetSuite, Oracle, and Onestream
What will you be doing in this role?
- Coordinate consolidation of P&L expenses from functional FP&A teams and derive the overall expense analysis for BU / Segment leadership.
- Assist in direct management of product organization and cost of goods sold.
- Provide support in the preparation of business cases and presentations.
- Provide analytical support for the development and tracking of strategies and initiatives.
- Assist with the development of the annual budget process, monthly close processes, and periodic re-forecasting exercises.
- Serve as Finance liaison with various functional areas.
- Assists with ad hoc projects.

In this role as a Senior Financial Analyst at Clarivate, you will be assigned to the Academic & Government Segment. Working closely with the business leaders, you'll assist with the consolidation and analysis of P&L operating expenses and direct margins.

Hours of Work
- Full time, permanent position
- This is a hybrid role working 2-3 days a week in our Ann Arbor, MI office
- Most work will be done in EST time zone but a flexible work schedule is required to accommodate our global team collaboration
