We are looking fora driven Accounting Intern with a basic understanding of GAAP andfinancial principles and terms who is ready for an immersiverealworld experience.
Under the supervision of our staff theAccounting Intern can expect to participate in the preparation ofjournal entries and financial reports analyze actual financial datalearn more about bookkeeping software and assist with otheraccounting activities.
You should be a motivated team player whocan maintain efficiency and accuracy when multitasking.
To be a strong candidate for an Accounting Internship youshould possess an understanding of accounting and financialprinciples and a positive attitude.
You should be collaborativetrustworthy receptive to feedback and eager to learn.
Accounting Intern Responsibilities :
- Shadowing members of the Accounting departmentas they perform their duties.
- Assisting withresearch filing data entry and recording and maintaining accurateand complete financial records.
- Preparingfinancial reports such as balance sheets and income statementsinvoices and other documents.
- Working withbookkeeping software.
- Handling sensitive orconfidential information with honesty andintegrity.
- Learning how to work as part of theAccounting team to compile and analyze data track information andsupport the company or clients.
- Taking onadditional tasks or projects to learn more about accounting andoffice operations.
AccountingIntern Requirements :
- Must be arecent graduate or actively working towards a Bachelors or Mastersin Accounting.
- Satisfactory completion ofintroductory accounting courses and a basic understanding ofaccounting and financialprinciples.
- Aptitude for mathproficiency withcomputers.
- Strong verbaland written communication skills.
- High level ofefficiency accuracy andresponsibility.
- Motivation and a strong desireto take on new challenges and learn as much aspossible.
