Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Controller to lead a finance team and work closely with the General Manager in overseeing all finance and accounting operations, including standard cost accounting and inventory controls.
This is a 100% in office role. Some travel will be required (1-3 nights, once a month).

Manufacturing Controller Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years as a Controller.
- Focus on Standard Account Model
- Inventory controls and E&O
Manufacturing Controller Key Responsibilities :
- Analyze, interpret, and communicate monthly manufacturing expenses and standard cost variances to management.
- Collaborate with Operations leadership, including plant management, to identify root causes of variances and recommend process improvements.
- Participate in the development and reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Develop and maintain inventory cost standards for materials, labor, and overhead.
- Define and improve key inventory performance metrics in collaboration with Operations management.
- Oversee accounting and reporting of fixed assets and construction-in-process.
- Prepare, record, and review general ledger account entries and reconciliations in Evo or similar ERP systems.
- Contribute to the forecasting and planning process.
- Prepare and record journal entries in Evo or similar ERP systems with appropriate support.
- Prepare and / or review consolidation package schedules for monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings for management reporting and external audits.
- Participate in cross-functional projects as assigned.
- Ensure the integrity of the general ledger through effective controls and regular testing.
