Essentialfunctions of the job may include but are not limited to thefollowing :
- Prepareand implement the instructional process for students withIEPs
- Deliverinstruction through the use of curriculum materials and educationalsoftware
- Developdaily lesson plans and clroom schedule that reflects state andschoolrequirements
- Implementstandards for student behavior in order to ensure a safe secure andeffective learning environment by providing a high degree ofstructure clear expectations andconsistency
Requirements
- Provenexperience as a Special Education Teacher or relevantrole
- Experienceworking with children on the autism spectrum
- Abachelors degree from an accredited university is required. Mastersdegree is aplus
- Havean Illinois PEL with special education (LSB1) endorsement (no othercertification will be accepted at thistime)
- Mustbe able to work up to 40 hours per week
