Solar Quality Assurance Technician Allied Resources Technical Consultants

About the Position :

Allied Resources is looking for a Quality Assurance Technician for an exciting Full-time opportunity with a forward thinking and innovative Renewable Energy Company in the greater Queen Anne’s County area.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with the Quality Site Manager to implement the site Quality Plan.
  • Conduct civil, mechanical, and electrical inspections during all phases of construction to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Identify and document any discrepancies using Construction Management Software (CMS).
  • Prepare daily inspection reports, document findings, and upload reports and photos to the CMS.
  • Support project-level quality reporting by gathering and summarizing data.
  • Assist team members with various quality-related tasks.
  • Engage in continuous learning and development through on-the-job and classroom training.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications :

  • 2-4 years of proven experience in quality assurance and / or construction.
  • Proficiency in inspecting electrical, mechanical, or civil installations.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • A strong work ethic and a commitment to teamwork.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with Office 365 applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
  • Experience using cloud-based construction management systems (e.g., Procore).
  • Understanding of transmission-scale construction principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with medium voltage fundamentals, utility systems, and overhead / pole equipment.
  • Ability to interpret construction, electrical, structural, or civil drawings.
  • Competence in understanding manufacturing equipment standards.
