DescriptionPOSITION TITLE : Driver / Warehouse WorkerDEPARTMENT : Warehouse REPORTS TO : Warehouse Manager STATUS : Part-Time (25 Hours / week)Mission StatementThe Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church.

BASIC PURPOSEPick up food and other in-kind donations and deliver them to the warehouse, weigh and log donations to TSA procedures.
Assist in executing the inventory control system in the warehouse that includes : Receiving, accounting, securing, rotating, and distributing food and other products to TSA programs.
Coordinate help when assignedAssist in the maintenance of the warehouse, and other operation related equipment.Assist in the vehicle maintenance and any recordkeeping relating to the vehicles.
Other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS GED or High School DiplomaValid Washington State driver's license with a clean driving recordValid forklift operator certification (or ability to get one)Good public relations / communication skillsKnowledge of Tacoma / Seattle areaAbility to work with a variety of people in diverse situationsAble to work Holidays, Saturdays and SundaysExperience in driving Box TrucksPhysical RequirementsMust be able to lift 50 lbs.
