This position manages reception desk by performing the following duties.

Responsibilities

  • Greets and checks in all visitors
  • Answers and forwards calls
  • Sorts and distributes mail
  • Processes accounts payable invoices
  • Review and reconcile vendor statements
  • Administers petty cash
  • Assist with month-end closing activities
  • Checks packing slips against receiving report
  • Orders office supplies
  • Assists with special projects, as necessary
  • Performs other duties that may be assigned
  • Predictable and regular attendance is required

Qualifications

High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED); Six months to one year of related experience and / or training

  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel and managing emails.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, percentages, and volume.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
  • Experience as an accounts payable specialist or similar role is preferred

Occasionally bend and stoop while filing. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Pay wage : $20-23 / hr (DOE)
  • Shift : Day Shift (5am-3 : 30pm) and Swing Shift (3pm-1 : 30am)
