Minimum qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or management consulting in the Consumer Electronics, OEMs, Telecom, Apps, or Technology industries.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

Preferred qualifications :

  • Familiarity with hardware, software, and cloud technologies, with the ability to understand and communicate technical concepts effectively.
  • Understanding of the PC industry, including market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.
  • Ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Ability to develop and execute complex strategies, focusing on long-term business growth.
  • Ability to negotiate and close high-value agreements with major partners.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at the C-level.

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners.

Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings.

Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV, and Commerce.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business.

The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments, and more.

Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies, and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $211,000-$300,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive global strategy for PC OEM partnerships, aligning with Google's overall business objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong C-level relationships with key executives at major PC OEMs, fostering trust and collaboration.
  • Drive business and market share expansion for ChromeOS and other Google products through strategic partnerships and initiatives.
  • Cultivate a growing ecosystem of partners, including hardware manufacturers, software developers, and distributors, and lead complex negotiations and close high-impact agreements with partners.
  • Lead and inspire a high-performing team of partnership professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
