Graphic Designer
The Graphic Designer will be responsible for taking projects from concept to completion and supporting company initiatives.
This role will be responsible for executing and / or coordinating marketing program materials, communications, graphics, and events in collaboration with our marketing team.
The Graphic Designer will have the opportunity to create modern, simple, and beautiful templates for various needs and in diverse styles.
This role will further ensure that the marketing tactics promote brand identity and align with organizational initiatives.
Essential Responsibilities :
- Support brand and identity standards to ensure a creative, yet consistent, look and feel that adheres to and supports the visual identity, and messaging to our customers.
- Create marketing communications, and graphically designs various marketing materials.
- Update print collateral (sales sheets, business cards, stationery) with CSI’s branding.
- Coordinate the creation of communications with the business as needed and ensures timelines are upheld.
- Execute sales-related marketing communications and promotions.
- Ensure tactics are integrated with brand initiatives and support organizational objectives.
- Review efficiency, value and impact of marketing initiatives and makes recommendations on potential improvements.
- Prioritize important daily tasks, typically one that has the closest deadlines.
- Report on tasks and deliveries to units or the corporate brand
- Meet with the marketing or internal teams to discuss the design process, expectations, project timelines, check-ins, discovery, or follow-up.
- After receiving the details of the new project, the graphic designer will go through the creative process on concept designs and seek peer review and feedback before sending them to the unit, aka the client.
- Each EOD checks in completing the marketing daily end-of-day stand-up communication so that team members know the status of their projects.
- Review and write creative briefs.
- Perform market research.
- Responsible for the corporate branding and development of the brand.
- Present new design ideas to the marketing team and marketing manager.
- Works with developers and web experts.
- Collaborate with multimedia designers and content creators.
Required Skills and Experience :
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in Graphic Design and detailed functional knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and InDesign are required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator. HTML or experience working with a web content management interface.
- Demonstrated experience producing quality marketing communications which include print collateral, sales related marketing communications, graphics and digital materials.
- Demonstrated experience with social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to develop effective communication materials and effectively communicate with internal teams.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
- Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees.
- Versatility and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment to effectively manage the timelines for multiple marketing projects, promotions, and events.
- Team player with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent skills in problem-solving, organization and creativity, and innovation.
- Excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
