Specific Duties
- Assist with game day operations (set up, operations, & tear down) as assigned.
- Assist with the planning and organization of in-game or exterior athletic events.
- Assist with the management and operations of in-game or exterior athletic events.
- Assist with the development and organization of fan & community engagement events.
- Assist with the motivation and training of current and new FWS hires.
- Help recruit FWS students for Game Management.
- Help with the preparation and clean up of community engagements and events.
- Responsible to propose engagement activities and correspond ideas through on / off campus relations.
Minimum Qualifications Must be a current University of La Verne student.
Must have a FWS award for the 2023 / 2024 academic year.
Must have at least one semester of ULV Game Day Operations experience OR at least one year in Game Day / Sports Operations and Management.
- Basic knowledge of sport and / or game day operations.
- Ability to lift and transport equipment or event materials (min. 25 pounds).
- Hands-on training experience.
- Motivation to be adaptable, accountable, reliable, punctual, and creative.
- Willingness to learn new skills.
- Demonstrated awareness and commitment to effectively establishing relationships and positive communications across multiple dimensions of diversity including, but not limited to race, gender, sexual preference / identity, physical limitations, class or religious perspectives.
- Ability to work with a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be a ULV Student
Preferred Qualifications
- Willingness to learn sporting rules and guidelines.
- Previous experience with athletics and game day operations.
Benefits Summary Employees are eligible for the following benefits :
One hour of Paid Sick Leave for every 30 hours worked, with a maximum accrual of 24 hours of Paid Sick Leave per year and capped at 48 hours.
