Specific Duties
- Willingness to cold call and secure ad sales from local businesses.
- Check-on, respond to and follow-up on all email, phone and in-person inquiries pertaining to advertising.
- Document and maintain accurate, detailed and organized records of conversations, ad specifics and agreements.
- Communicate regularly with Journalism Operations Manager to ensure ads run on time.
- Process, print and submit monthly invoices to both internal and external ad customers.
- Submit completed and signed invoices from internal customers to Department Coordinator on a monthly basis.
- Submit ad requests to Journalism Operations Manager on or before set deadlines.
- Meet with Operations Manager on a monthly basis to provide updates on new advertising
Minimum Qualifications
Applicant must be a self-starter, highly-motivated, responsible, organized and detail-oriented.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of MS Office and Excel and have strong customer service experience.
