With the ongoing expansion of our business, we are hiring a Director to support Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Data Center Delivery.

The Director of Infrastructure Delivery Data Center, will lead a team of Technical Program Managers responsible for data center capacity builds to support the growth of Oracle Cloud infrastructure.

The ideal candidate can manage fast paced delivery while leveraging their proven leadership and program management capabilities.

This is a high impact role that will lead a highly motivated team through the end-to-end lifecycle required to successfully deliver the next generation of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

Our team ensures the on time, on budget and on schedule delivery inclusive of facility tenant improvements, data hall construction, and data center fit out through general availability.

Some key detailed team accountabilities include tracking financials, bid analysis, contract negotiations, award of contracts, purchasing and tracking materials as well as overseeing the onsite construction / fit out work.

The ideal candidate demonstrates the ability to dive deep on infrastructure build issues, oversee construction management and manage delivery;

they can also inspire and nurture a distributed team, demonstrate system level thinking and drive process improvements as well as support their team throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Day-to-day you can expect the following :

  • Manage a diverse team of Technical Program Managers; coaching, mentoring, and leading the team while providing opportunities for career growth.
  • Provide program and project management expertise to complex business initiatives that are regional in nature, understanding dependencies and accounting for complexity relative to scope / schedule and budgets.
  • Develop partnerships with vendors and distributors and identify opportunities to improve purchasing and delivery timelines.
  • Build relationships and collaborate globally with stakeholders and partners to deliver outcomes across the organization, ensuring a shared understanding of progress and performance.
  • Seek opportunities to bring about ongoing improvement and simplification in business operating procedures and practices leading to improved effectiveness of the organization.
  • Track and manage priorities and committed actions to drive progress and provide actionable insights.

What You’ll Bring :

Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Project Management, Data Center Management or proven technical equivalent experience.

10+ years of experience directly managing, mentoring, and leading a team.

6+ years of experience with outside vendor management, stakeholder relationship management, and delivering complex technology projects.

Experience with varying scenarios of data center related infrastructure builds.

Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies, related to infrastructure (i.e., network, data center, hardware, mechanical and electrical systems).

Ability to inspire confidence in executive leaders and motivate team members.

Experience leading through ambiguity; proven track record of implementing solutions that improve delivery.

Excellent communication skills including high quality written communications and the ability to articulate complex information in a simple way.

Outstanding cross-group collaboration skills and proven ability to partner across teams.

Program / project management certifications or qualifications with proven ability to deliver complex programs.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only.

US : Hiring Range : from $139,300 to $291,900 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  • 11 paid holidays.
  • Paid sick leave : 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
