Description

At Regions, the Capital Markets Compliance Function Manager develops and maintains an effective compliance program to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to various aspects of the real estate banking and commercial lending services.

Primary Responsibilities

Drives compliance strategy and operations

Develops and maintains compliance policies and procedures

Builds an effective compliance management system to track legislative and regulatory developments that affect various lines of business

Prepares reports and presentations for Executive management regarding compliance program activities

Assists the lines of business in developing internal controls to mitigate identified compliance risks

Identifies, communicates, and develops compliance education and awareness programs and assist with the delivery or development of compliance training

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

This position is incentive eligible.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and six (6) six years of experience in a financial role

Two (2) years in a compliance leadership role

Skills and Competencies

Ability to communicate ideas (written and verbally) both clearly and concisely.

Ability to work independently and responsibly with little supervision or instruction, but also a team player.

Attention to detail, prioritization skills, responsiveness and ability to meet tight deadlines are essential.

Strong skills with Microsoft office suite

This position will serve as a Compliance Manager within Regions Corporate Banking Group, in support of the Capital Markets team, which includes Regions Real Estate Capital Markets operations.

Our ideal candidate will have a broad-based knowledge of, and proven experience, applicable to a Corporate Bank / Capital Markets function.

Experience with providing business oversight and compliance consultation with Government Sponsored Enterprise (GSE) Organizations, such as Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac is a plus.

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include : experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role.

As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

Job Range Target :

$108,219.60 USD$149,830.00 USD

Incentive Pay Plans :

This role is eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive plan. Employees have the potential to receive a discretionary award based on performance against defined metrics and goals.
