Nexus Health is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk. As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring timely delivery of products to customers.
This is a vital role in our warehouse operations and requires strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
SCOPE : Under direct supervision, performs routine but varied clerical duties in accordance with standard procedures such as photocopying, filing, posting information, and mail distribution for the office.
Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards. Responsibilities ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Prepare and organize incoming orders Calculate most efficient shipping methods to forward orders to the appropriate dept.
Organize orders for efficient shipping (i.e. semi, hot shot, LTL or ground) Ensure organized record keeping and billing Ensure all shipments are properly documented and recorded in the warehouse management system (WMS) Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries Assist in resolving any shipping or receiving discrepancies Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : Must have customer service experience Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred Familiarity in loading a semi Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and order picking software Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously PHYSICAL DEMANDS : The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Requires ability to reach above shoulder height. Requires sitting / standing for extensive periods of time. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
