Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Database Administrator- DB2 LUW Admin Position type : Full TimeDuration : Full TimeLocation : Franklin, Wisconsin (Onsite) As a Database Administrator- DB2 LUW Admin, you will : Minimum Qualifications : Provide all aspects operational support for the DB2-UDB database environment.

Ability to support additional DB or BI technologies is preferred.Work in onsite offshore model and prove a leadership for the teamAbility to write complex shell scripts for operational maintenance and automation.

Automation - Shell / Perl Scripting ( Python will be add on )Strong hands-on experience on DB2 HA / TSAMP and partitioning.

Good command on DB2 basic concepts.DevOps mindset and good to have at least basic Gitlab knowledge.Having Ansible, Docker knowledge will add weightage for sure.

Highly skilled in DB2 LUW administration including (installation, patching / upgrade, configuration, monitoring, performance tuning and troubleshooting).

Monitors and refines processes, procedures, and systems to optimize operational stability and / or integrity and recommends and / or implements improvements.

Administer audit-based processes for evaluating and submitting evidence and updating processes and other documentation as needed.

Experience resolving complex problems logically and methodically, and good judgment to involve and communicate with vendors, internal teams, and management.

Ability to write complex shell scripts for operational maintenance and automation.Ability to maintain Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and provide support for BCP exercises and actual disaster recovery.
