Kforces client is looking for a WMS Deployment Manager. This is a long temp project that is fully remote, and will require some travel.
Job Description :
Deployment manager will be coordinating across multiple teams like technical team, PM?s, rollout team, business etc.
Responsibilities :
- Experience with Manhattan or a similar WMS system will be an asset
- Supply Chain experience will be an asset
- MS Project knowledge desired to be able to review project planning documentation
- Travel to sites during rollout
- PM with distribution industry experience. This also covers the MS Project
- Manhattan may be a reach but great if you can find it. Otherwise, another ERP system would be good like SAP or Oracle. ERP systems should also cover the mulit-system since ERP requires a high degree of integration.
Requisition-to-pay process in the ERP will cover supply chain Im thinking grocery wholesaling distribution too. Grocery can have its own set of stuff since the product is so broad, is seasonal, deals with foods and non-foods as well as perishables.
Not sure about them but scheduling refrigerated trucks may create a diversity in shipping logistics. Also, high degree of integration with buyers to ensure product is in house.
A lot of shortages these days and meats are usually an ongoing buyer challenge. Stores may have a lot of difference in what products are needed for restocking.
