Accufile, the market leader in information and research management solutions is actively recruiting records management specialists to work at our client site.
This is a full-time, on-site position. Monday - Friday 9 : 00am - 5 : 00pm / 35 hours per week
Responsibilities include :
- Performing records functions, including categorizing, filing, scanning and copying legal documents
- Assisting in updating records schedules and facilitating the transfer of records
- Identifying specific files designated for review, using provided lists
- Delivering and retrieving files within a busy legal environment
- Performing other tasks as indicated by the on-site supervisor
- Researching and resolving problems
- Maintaining project deadlines
- 1-3 years experience in the field of archives or records management preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but consideration will be given to candidates with experience in lieu of education
- Experience using electronic cataloging systems
- Experience in a legal environment highly desirable
- Ability to set task priorities, plan, and manage short-term projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office products
- Ability to problem solve and work independently
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, and to stand or sit for extended periods of time
