Are you a skilled carpenter looking to expand your expertise into the exciting world of sign assembly? Nesco Resource is thrilled to offer a fantastic opportunity for an Sign Assembler (Non-Automotive) in Madison Heights.

This full-time contract-to-hire position is perfect for those who enjoy working hands-on with creative projects and want to bring their craftsmanship to life!

Pay Rate : $17 / hr - $18 / hr (Based on experience)

Shift : 8 AM - 4 : 30 PM

What You'll Do :

• Craft Custom Creations : Use your hands-on skills to wire and assemble stunning lighting solutions, including cutting-edge LEDs, into beautifully designed decor and signage that meet our engineered specifications.
• Innovative Wiring : Safely make electrical connections and rewire signage and lighting as needed, showcasing your problem-solving abilities and creativity.
• Material Mastery : Work with a variety of materials LEDs, aluminum, acrylic, plastic, power supplies, and electrical components to create custom lettersets and signage that range from simple elegance to intricate designs.
• Tool Proficiency : Utilize your experience with power drills, nailers, staplers, and tape guns to bring your projects to life.

What We're Looking For :

Hands-On Expertise : Your ability to use power tools and read shop drawings will set you apart as you assemble various decor and signage items from start to finish.

This isn't assembly line work; it's your chance to craft unique pieces!

• Attention to Detail : Read and follow written and oral instructions with precision. Your keen eye for detail will ensure each piece meets our high standards.
• Measurement Mastery : Understand how to read a tape measure and apply it effectively in your work.

Physical Requirements :

• Strength & Stamina : Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods while performing repetitive movements.
• Safety First : Wear safety glasses at all times in the shop and a respirator as required for certain tasks to ensure your health and safety.
