The Night Auditor supports Front Desk and Guest Services operations overnight for all resort brands for Rentyl, part of NDM Hospitality.
The agent is responsible for checking in Guests, auditing our daily operations through financial balancing and reporting, supporting call center operations by answering overnight phones, assisting Guest needs and requests, as well as acting as the manager on duty and first responder to overnight operations.
Responsibilities :
- Welcomes and registers guests in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner
- Acts as manager on duty and first responder to overnight operations including, but not limited to, housekeeping and maintenance concerns
- Coordinates with resort partners to satisfy guest requests
- Provides detailed information about properties and resort operating hours and events
- Notifies Management of all special requests, Guest concerns, late checkouts, etc.
- Adheres to all company service standards
- Answers telephone calls and guest inquiries in a friendly, professional manner
- Maintains cleanliness of equipment in work areas
- Accurately process all cash and credit card transactions in accordance with established procedures
- Generate financial and operational reports while maintaining proper record keeping
- Respond appropriately to guest inquiries and concerns to ensure total guest satisfaction
- Handle guest issues to resolution in effort to improve the guest experience and escalate any outstanding guest inquiry or concern to management that may require additional monitoring or follow-up
- Make appropriate service recovery recommendations
- Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communications and coordination with other departments
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent and / or experience in a hotel, property management, or customer service-based profession is required
- Previous experience as a Night Auditor or Front Desk Agent is required
- Ability to work overnight with a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, is required
- Excellent customer service skills, preferably within the hospitality industry, is required
- Self-starter and self-motivated with the ability to stay on task with little supervision is essential
- Computer proficiency and ability to understand technical tools / resources is essential
- Experienced with Microsoft Office Software is a plus
- Knowledge of property management systems is a plus
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
- Ability to stand for extended period of times may be required frequently
