Position Overview

We are seeking an accomplished and results-driven District Sales Manager to assist with sales operations in Southern California, specifically Orange County and San Diego County. This role involves managing and supporting a team of sales representatives, driving business growth, and maintaining strong relationships with both customers and winery partners. The position requires a strategic mindset, hands-on leadership, and a consistent presence in the market.

Key ResponsibilitiesALL\tLead, mentor, and develop a team of sales professionals to achieve and exceed sales objectives

\tIdentify and secure new business opportunities while supporting the growth of existing accounts

\tAnalyze sales performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement

\tMaintain a strong in-field presence (3–4 days / week) to engage directly with accounts and the market

\tCultivate and strengthen relationships with customers and winery partners

\tRepresent the company and our wineries at tastings, wine dinners, trade shows, and industry events

\tAct as a brand ambassador for our portfolio, ensuring alignment with winery goals and standards

Qualifications

\tMinimum of 5 years of wine industry sales experience, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership capacity

\tComprehensive knowledge of California wines, varietals, and appellations

\tDemonstrated success in managing and motivating sales teams

\tExceptional organizational, communication, and time management skills

\tProficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office

\tAbility to work independently while fostering a collaborative team environment

\tResidency in, and strong connections within, Orange County or San Diego County

\tValid driver's license with a clean driving record

\tAbility to lift and transport up to 50 pounds and travel frequently within the territory

\tSuccessful completion of pre-employment drug screening and background check

Compensation & Benefits

\tAnnual salary range : $90,000–$110,000, commensurate with experience and location
