CAD Drafter

PAY IS DOE Essential Functions / Responsibilities : - Create detailed manufacturing drawings of fasteners based on industry specifications and customer requirements - Collaborate with engineering team to revise existing technical drawings to correct discrepancies and make improvements - Assist in the development and maintenance of drafting standards and procedures - Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to address design requirements and modifications - Safety Sensitive Position - Other duties as needed or required Work Environment : -Primary work environment is the office and the production floor.

Able to lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. Able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) through the entire shift. Ability to be aware of surroundings for safety concerns.

While performing duties of this job the employee will be required to frequently stand on their feet for extended periods of time.

Occasion stooping and walking will be required. Employee maybe required to lead production shop tours. Employee will have meetings in the shop requiring the wearing of personal protective equipment.

Ability to assist a machine operator to understand process flow. Ability to be aware of surroundings for safety concerns.

Able to operate office equipment such as computers, copy machines, etc. Able to sit for prolonged time periods plus occasion walking to stooping.

Required Skills and Qualifications : - Proficiency in 3D CAD software and drafting tools (Autodesk Inventor preferred) - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, etc.

Basic understanding of engineering and manufacturing principles - Attention to detail and accuracy in creating technical drawings - Strong communication skills - Associate degree in drafting or a related field preferred Special Requirements : -Safety Sensitive : This job is designated by Valley Forge & Bolt Mfg.
