Sales Associate, PT
Reports To : Receiving Supervisor; Assistant Store Manager, Operations (Operations / Service)
GENERAL PURPOSE OF POSITION :
As a part of the store back-of-house team, the Receiving Associate will process incoming freight according to Company standards. Backroom
activities in this role could include : Unloading trucks, processing (hanging, sensoring, sizing, ticketing) apparel, and processing shoes. Sales
floor activities in this role could include : the timely flow of merchandise from the receiving area to the sales floor, ensuring the sales floor is
continuously well-stocked with new receipts and merchandised according to company standards. Receiving Team works in partnership with
Merchandising Team to manage continuous flow program.

RESPONSIBILITIES :
Ensure dock, Assembly Line table and Tagging / Sizing station are clean (trash removed, unnecessary supplies removed from staging areas,
aisles clear, etc.)
Corral empty fixtures, rolling racks, trash cans, etc. to use during freight processing
Ensure hanger supply fixtures are stocked
Identify Backlog cartons to be processed first (after Ad merchandise, if applicable)
Stage empty pallets for carton sorting by division.
Unload trucks - break down the pallets and feed the cartons onto the Nesta-Flex (select stores) or hand trucks
Operate hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area
Areas include but are not limited to :
- Identify / resolve backups on the line
- Scan cartons into CTNPROD on the RF Gun
- Open / unpack cartons, identify items, strip packing material, remove pre-packs
- Verify accuracy of label / tickets to merchandise
- Identify and remove exceptions from the line
- Sort and flow merchandise
- Flatten / remove boxes from line
- Hang merchandise and strip plastic as needed
- Place items on a Floor Ready or Tagging / Sizing rolling rack; move to prep area
- Ticket or EAS Tag as needed
- Apply EAS tags in proper location following guidelines
- Apply size rings following sizing guidelines

REQUIREMENTS :
Previous receiving or warehouse experience within a Big Box or Specialty retail environment preferred
Availability to meet minimum scheduling requirements as set forth by the company
Physical ability to stand for extended periods, and to move and handle merchandise, which entails lifting, and perform all functions as set
forth above
Strong interpersonal, communication, organization and follow-through skills
