Maxar is seeking a Windows / MacOS Desktop Administrator to join our team at our Westminster facility. In this role, you will work on a diversified, distributed team supporting solutions in numerous operating domains.

What You’ll Be Doing :
- Work on a distributed team with endpoint infrastructure and personnel across the United States
- Configure, deploy, and administer Windows-based desktop / endpoint environments
- Create and maintain Windows software distribution packages
- Remediate and contain cybersecurity issues pertaining to Windows endpoint infrastructure
Minimum Requirements :
- Must be a U.S. citizen and be willing / able to obtain a US Government Secret security clearance
- Minimum of two years of previous experience in an IT systems administrator role, particularly in a desktop / endpoint specialization role.
- Bachelor's degree in related field. Four years of additional experience may be substituted for a degree
- Experience with deploying and customizing Microsoft Windows and MacOS operating systems
- Experience with software deployment / configuration management tools and related scripting technologies : PowerShell, SCCM, Jamf, and Intune
- Experience with forest-level Active Directory systems
Preferred Requirements :
- Understanding of Linux desktop operating systems and related maintenance / deployment / authentication technologies, primarily for RHEL and Ubuntu variants.
- Existing, transferable US Government Secret clearance with limited-scope polygraph, or higher
- Previous experience with Agile methodologies
- Previous experience with medium to large-scale infrastructure installations
- Previous experience working on a distributed team
- Understanding of cloud methodologies and services, particularly AWS
- Understanding of hardening systems, including work in STIG / ICD503 / SCAP / CIS / CMMC / FIPS / Common Criteria environments
- CompTIA Security+ CE, or better, DOD Directive 8570 / 8140 IAT Level 2 and IAM Level 1 certification
- Microsoft MTA Windows Operating System Fundamentals, or better, certification
- Apple Certified Support Professional, or better, certification

Our salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidate’s unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience.
The range for this position is :
$71,000.00 - $117,000.00 annually.
