Are you a dedicated and skilled Emergency Room Technician looking for an opportunity to make a difference in a dynamic healthcare environment?
We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team at our state-of-the-art facility in Chicago, IL. As an ER Tech, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our patients in the Emergency Services Unit.
Responsibilities :
Assist medical staff in providing patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians.
Perform vital sign monitoring, EKGs, and other basic medical procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure the safety and comfort of patients.
Participate in patient transport and assist with patient admissions and discharges.
Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including infection control protocols and patient confidentiality guidelines.
Requirements :
High school diploma or equivalent.
Certification as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or completion of an ER Technician program.
Valid ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
Previous experience working in an emergency room or similar fast-paced medical setting is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
Willingness to work a full-time schedule, including every other weekend.
