Field Support Engineer Position Available in Raleigh, NC Competitive salary + expenses + vacation + benefits + 401k (paid hourly door to door when traveling)
Qualifications :
- You may occasionally be required to visit a client on short notice if their equipment is down and affecting their production, but overnight stays are rare.
- You should have knowledge of electrical components, the ability to read schematics, and basic troubleshooting skills.
- Installing software and performing basic configurations, such as confirming IP addresses, will be part of your responsibilities to ensure remote diagnosis of client equipment.
- Basic exposure to PLC controllers and Camera Inspection equipment is required, but programming skills are not necessary.
- You should be confident in making decisions in front of clients to efficiently resolve problems and get equipment up and running again.
We provide an on-site training program to enhance your current knowledge and experience, as well as daily support from the Service Manager and other field technicians.
Your role will involve providing service to clients with deployed equipment under service contracts through phone, email, and in-person support.
It will be your responsibility to diagnose, repair, and document equipment repairs. You will need to stay calm under pressure, work independently, and demonstrate resourcefulness in troubleshooting and repairs on-site.
You may also be required to train clients, move, install, repair equipment, and provide basic use and maintenance training to operators.
We offer excellent training on our products and processes, starting with extensive training after you have acquired basic knowledge and experience in the field.
Final training will be conducted at our headquarters.

The Field Support Engineer role in this area involves a high density of equipment, resulting in predominantly windshield time and the ability to be home almost every evening.
We cover all expenses while you are on the road visiting client locations and offer generous time off and comp time. Your schedule will include visits to key client locations and meetings with clients who require in-person assistance beyond remote support.
All travel arrangements are handled by our travel service and directly billed to the company whenever possible. You will also be provided with a company credit card for gas and expenses during your travel.

Compensation can reach the $80's with many of our technicians earning six figures based on their amount of travel.
