Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst who is passionate about using big data to enhance customer experiences and inform business decisions.

This role involves deep dive analysis into customer behavior, hypothesis formulation, rigorous experimentation, and collaboration across various teams to drive growth and improve user experiences on our platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize clickstream and transactional data to gain insights into the customer journey.
  • Develop hypotheses to identify and resolve user experience bottlenecks.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and UX teams to ensure accurate analytics instrumentation and telemetry.
  • Provide requirements and assist in the design, setup, analysis, and recommendations for A / B testing.
  • Create compelling narratives that effectively communicate insights to internal stakeholders, including non-technical and executive audiences.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Engagement & Retention, Data Science, Finance, Engineering, Product, Marketing) to drive growth across our product offerings.
  • Apply statistical and data science models to understand the full customer journey from acquisition to retention.
  • Utilize data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) for descriptive and diagnostic analysis.

Qualifications

  • 4 to 6 years of experience in data / business analysis or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or another quantitative field (Master’s preferred).
  • Strong proficiency in SQL-like languages for data querying and manipulation (Hive / Hadoop experience preferred).
  • 2-3 years of experience with A / B testing.
  • Familiarity with clickstream data and big data platforms (e.g., Hadoop).
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python and R.
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
  • Expertise in statistical modeling using Microsoft Excel or Power Pivot.
  • Knowledge of statistical modeling, machine learning, or data mining concepts.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with transactional data analysis.
  • Background in finance or business operations.
  • Familiarity with user experience and design testing.
  • Knowledge of telemetry and instrumentation.

Logistics

  • Start Date : 10 / 15 / 2024
  • End Date : 10 / 14 / 2025
  • Location : Hybrid (2-3 days per week in the office); Not open to fully remote candidates
  • Hours : 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day
