Our client, leading provider in healthcare services dedicated to improving patient outcomes and enhancing healthcare delivery, is looking to hire on a Finance Manager over their Procurement division.
This role will be hybrid back in the office in Tinley Park, Illinois and is budgeted up to a base of $140,000 with additional annual bonus eligibility.
As the Finance Manager Procurement , you will play a pivotal role in managing financial aspects of procurement activities within our client’s organization.
You will collaborate closely with procurement teams, finance departments and key stakeholders to ensure efficient procurement processes that align with financial goals and regulatory requirements.
This individual will have extensive experience in the healthcare and / or health insurance space, and have advanced experience working with direct and indirect spend and cost savings.
Finance Manager Procurement Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize procurement processes while ensuring cost-efficiency and compliance
- Analyze procurement data and financial reports to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
- Monitor and manage procurement budgets, forecasts and expenditures
- Partner with procurement teams to negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and pricing
- Evaluate supplier performance and conduct financial assessments to support vendor selection and ongoing supplier management
- Provide financial guidance and support to procurement initiatives, including sourcing decisions and contract management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, operations and legal to ensure alignment on procurement strategies and financial objectives
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations and best practices in procurement finance
Finance Manager Procurement Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred
- Proven experience in procurement finance, financial analysis or related roles within the healthcare industry
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, financial modeling and budget management
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic recommendations
- Solid negotiation and contract management skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance
