Human Resources Manager
Lead Human Resources at a dynamic fintech company located in downtown Las Olas! Join the management team as a key player in propelling the business forward, responsible for end-to-end employee lifecycle management including recruiting, people operations, engagement, L&D, strategy, and data & analytics.

Duties / Responsibilities :
Recruitment and Staffing : Overseeing the recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, hiring decisions, and onboarding new employees.
Work with management to ensure the staffing needs of the company are met efficiently and effectively.
- Employee Engagement and Retention : Implementing strategies to increase employee engagement and reduce turnover.
- Collaboration with Senior Management : Working closely with senior management to align HR strategies with business goals, particularly in the context of non-QM lending challenges and opportunities.
- Employee Relations : Managing employee relations, addressing concerns, administering disciplinary actions, and maintaining a positive work environment.
This includes ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Learning and Development : Implementing and monitoring employee training programs to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the mortgage lending industry, especially around non-QM products.
- Performance Management : Developing and executing performance management processes, including performance reviews, goal-setting, and feedback mechanisms.
- Compensation and Benefits : Administering employee compensation plans, benefits programs, and ensuring they are competitive and compliant with legal requirements.
- Policy Development and Compliance : Developing and updating HR policies and procedures in accordance with state and federal regulations, especially those relevant to the mortgage lending industry.
- HR Data and Analytics : Using HR data and analytics to make informed decisions and improve HR processes.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years' experience in Human Resources, preferably in the mortgage lending or financial services sector
- Experience in a dynamic, startup environment strongly preferred
- Experience in a management and / or leadership position strongly preferred
- Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies
- Demonstrated expertise training managers and employees
- Strong organizational, critical thinking and time management skills
- Attention to detail and good judgement
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
