Quality Manager - Food Manufacturing
Location : Burlington, NC
Salary Range : $125,000 - $145,000

A growing food manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join their leadership team. This role is critical in maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and oversee all internal and external audits
- Drive continuous improvement in quality and food safety processes
- Manage and develop quality assurance team
- Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and industry standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain audit-readiness
- Oversee product testing and lab analysis
- Handle customer complaints and implement corrective actions
Requirements :
- Master's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, or related field; OR Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of applicable experience
- 3-5 years of experience in food industry quality management
- Strong knowledge of FSMA / FDA requirements and GFSI certification
- Experience leading audits and maintaining audit-ready status
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional nights and weekends
- Prior work authorization in the US required
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have a continuous improvement mindset, and thrive in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
This role involves participation in daily production meetings and requires occasional domestic and international travel.
