Responsibilities for the Electrical Engineer include :
- Providing technical support for the plant electrical and instrumentation systems
- Developing electrical and instrumentation designs for projects
- Creating capital and expense budges for electrical system reliability projects
- Managing Capital projects related to electrical infrastructure
Requirements for the Electrical Engineer include :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years of relevant experience
- Experience within a chemical processing, refining, or heavy industrial environment
- Strong understanding of electrical and instrumentation reliability, troubleshooting, and design
- Knowledgeable in medium voltage (5-15kV) and low voltage electrical equipment
- Understanding of industry codes and standards including NFPA, API, IEEE, NEMA, UL, ANSI
