Our greatest asset has been, and will continue to be, our people. We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Reservoir Engineer in our US Onshore Resources & Carbon Management (ORCM), Rockies Business Unit based in Denver, Colorado.
The Reservoir Engineer will work on the DJ Basin Subsurface Characterization Team.The candidate will support the development and reserves teams with the development of the DJ Basin Asset.
Primary responsibilities will be characterizing opportunities, optimizing development, and generating new resource prospects.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Analyze geological and engineering data to optimize field development plans.
- Undertake comprehensive data analysis for reserve bookings and subsurface characterization including machine learning and statistical methods such as clustering and regression analysis.
- Create dashboards and visualizations for collaborating with stakeholders and making technical recommendations.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines for processing well inventory detail and metrics.
- Integrate various reservoir studies including geo-modelling, reservoir modelling, geochemistry, PVT, petrophysics, production performance, pressure transient tests, and other data in planning future development.
Recommend special data requirements and evaluation techniques.
